Sign in, learn step by step and get help when you need it.

Sign in for the first timeYour school gives you the details for your own learning account.
  1. Choose Sign in. Type the email address and password your school gave you, then select Sign in.
  2. Check spelling and capital letters in your password. If it does not work, ask your teacher for help. Do not use a friend’s account.
  3. You will see your own grade’s digital learning pathway. If the grade is wrong, tell your teacher before starting.
Start here: computer basicsYou do not need computer experience to begin.
  1. Select Start lesson. The pathway begins with what a computer is, computer types, hardware, Windows, input and output, and basic computer care.
  2. Read each idea and look at the examples. Try the activity with help from your teacher if you need it.
  3. Complete each lesson in order. Later lessons stay locked until the required earlier lessons are complete.
Learn, practise and complete a lessonTake one clear step at a time.
  1. Start with the welcome and learning goal. Read Learn and the worked example before the quick check.
  2. Read all answer choices. They may appear in a different order each time. If your answer is wrong, read the explanation and try again.
  3. Complete Try it and the final check. At the end, finish the lesson and wait for the save to succeed.
  4. Completed lessons and finished topics turn green. Use Continue to find your next lesson or Review to revisit completed work once the required foundations are done.
Use AI thoughtfullyAI can help, but its answers can be wrong.
  1. AI is software that learns patterns from examples to produce predictions or responses. It is not a person and does not always know what is true.
  2. Give a clear task, useful details and the kind of answer you want. Then read the answer carefully and check important facts with a trusted source or teacher.
  3. Never put passwords, your home address or other people’s private information into an AI tool. Follow your teacher’s rules and say when AI helped you.
  4. Our evidence labs use made-up example responses for practice. Read the evidence, make your choice and explain why. Save practical work in your own document when your teacher asks; the reflection box is not a permanent assignment upload.
Take the practice testsUse your results to find what to revise.
  1. The AI practice test unlocks after all AI lessons are completed. Its result is only kept for that session.
  2. The final pathway test unlocks after all required lessons are completed. It covers the full learning pathway and saves the result to your account when submission succeeds.
  3. Aim for 75% or more. Read your feedback and review difficult lessons. A practice result is not an official school examination mark.
  4. If a save fails, keep the page open and retry when the connection returns. Ask your teacher if you are unsure whether a result was saved.
Get help and keep your account safeTell a trusted adult when something does not work or feels unsafe.
  1. If a page will not load, check the internet connection and use the page’s Retry button. Ask your teacher before closing a page with unsaved work.
  2. If words or buttons look cut off, try normal browser zoom and tell your teacher the page and device you are using.
  3. Never send your password in a message or contact form. Ask your teacher or school administrator for account help.
  4. Sign out when you finish on a shared computer. If you see another learner’s account, sign out without changing anything.
